Sauce Gardner is playing coy about Ice Spice as rumors that the two are dating continue to heat up.
The 24-year-old New York Jets cornerback was asked by TMZ Sports about the 25-year-old rapper recently.
The NFL player kept it coy when asked about his relationship with Ice Spice, but he did reveal the athlete that connected the two of them.

Sauce shared that the two of them are “cool” and when asked if that meant there was an update to their relationship, he shut the conversation down. Choosing to keep things private between the two of them, he said, “It’s still the same for real. I ain’t trying to speak too much on it.”
Sauce elaborated on his connection to Ice Spice and revealed that their shared city is one of the reasons the two of them get along so well.
He told TMZ, “We just be having a good time. Two young individuals. She’s from New York, I play in New York. She’s talented, real talented at what she do — same for me. Two people that get hated on that’s really good at what we do, so we’ve got a lot in common.”
Sauce also shared that it was an episode of LeBron James talk show The Shop that initially connected the two of them.
“I think we met at The Shop, the interview we did with LeBron and [Travis Scott]. That was definitely when we first seen each other in person,” Sauce shared.
