Excited to Work With Nayan Sarika on My Next Film: Niharika Konidela

After delivering a blockbuster with Committee Kurrollu in her debut film production (Pink Elephant) last year, actress-producer Niharika Konidela is on a roll. Recently, she announced her second film which will be directed by Manasa Sharma and headlined by young actor Sangeeth Shobhan. The latest development is that Nayan Sarika will play the female lead in the film. Interestingly, three of them worked earlier in different web series in Niharika’s production.

Niharika introduced Nayan to Telugu audiences

Niharika earlier introduced Nayan Sarika to the Telugu audiences with her production venture, Hello World and Bench Life. “So this is more like a reunion of sorts,” Niharika smiles, commenting that she’s excited to join hands with Nayan again for a feature film. Nayan’s performances in her earlier films like Ka and Aay have been the clincher. “We as a production house are always on the lookout for young and exciting talent. Collaborating with actors like Nayan indicates our commitment to nurturing and working with promising talent,” said Niharika.

Life as a producer is challenging and exciting

Mahesh Uppala co-wrote the screenplay along with Manasa Sharma. Niharika describes the upcoming film as a breezy entertainer. “The film promises to be a fun and engaging treat for audiences. The script has all the ingredients of a typical commercial entertainer yet high creatively,” she says, adding that a lot went into the writing of the script. Having worked as a leading lady, Niharika acknowledges that life as a producer has been challenging and exciting too. She said,“Being an actress, I have the edge, and I am able to get better insights into the production and how to execute things. The super success of my debut production venture (Committee Kurrollu) gave me crazy confidence to push the envelope and bring out versatility.” She also explains that she likes to ace the act of balancing acting and production.
