Celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim, the man behind the looks of Bollywood’s biggest stars and cricketing legends, has made a stunning revelation — his own hair is fake, but the stars’ manes are 100% real.
In an interview with Hindi Rush, Aalim addressed persistent rumours that several top Bollywood actors use wigs or hair patches. Brushing aside the speculation, he clarified, “They don’t wear hair patches or wigs. To be very frank, my own hair is fake. I don’t lie about it. But those actors? All real.”

Hakim, who has worked with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Virat Kohli, and MS Dhoni, emphasized the authenticity of stars like Hrithik Roshan and Kapil Sharma. “Sabke asli baal hain, boss. I cut their hair myself,” he declared confidently, adding that fake hair simply wouldn’t move the same way on camera. “Like Hrithik’s chopper scene in War — that hair movement? Only real hair can do that.”
In fact, Hrithik himself once joked about baldness running in the Roshan family. In a candid interview with Pinkvilla alongside his father Rakesh Roshan, the two laughed about a past incident where someone claimed Hrithik would go bald too. Rakesh recalled saying, “Even if he loses his hair, he won’t lose his kismet.”
So, while many might believe Bollywood is full of hairpieces and hidden secrets, Aalim Hakim is setting the record straight — the stars have the real deal, even if he doesn’t
