Nothing changed,nothing will change,Accepting this isnt pessmissim,but reality.Those who were complaining about you,are complaining about you today also and will do so tommorow too.Dont agree try to convince them and wait for few days,you will find their basic nature remained same.You were wasting your time trying to change yourself in order to satisfy them and gain their attention.Stop doing that.Stop calling someone suddenly soul mate,no he/she is not your soulmate.It is just your fallacy in assuming that non sense.
What is the way out then,accept yourself,be as you are ,and try to accomodate them till the point it doesnt become headache.If it happens headache then what to do.Tell them politely and even if it didnt help walk out of that relationship,job,buisness or partnership with dignity,even if it means loss of money for you at present,loss of fake status at present.Life is much bigger and expansive,you definetly deserve better than this.
